Kinesiology and the Central Nervous System.

The central nervous system is the control centre of the body. It is made up of the brain and spinal cord and is responsible for receiving, processing, and sending out information to the rest of the body. A balanced nervous system is crucial for overall health and well-being.

When the nervous system is in balance, it can effectively communicate with the rest of the body, allowing us to move, think, and feel properly. Our muscles and organs will function as they should, and our senses will work accurately. We will also be able to react appropriately to different situations, whether it's with a fight or flight response or a more relaxed state.

On the other hand, an imbalanced central nervous system can lead to a variety of problems. A lack of balance in the nervous system can result in chronic pain, difficulty with movement and coordination, and emotional imbalances. It can also lead to conditions such as depression, anxiety, and even addiction.

The nervous system can easily become out of balance due to stress, anxiety, rushing, lack of sleep, being stuck in survival mode, or constantly ‘on alert’. When you think about the last three years i.e., restrictions, lockdowns, supply shortages (panic buying, anyone?) and a constantly shifting social landscape, it’s no wonder that our central nervous systems might be a bit on edge.

Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology practitioners around Australia have recently had training to offer a new balance protocol as part of our session pre-checks, specifically addressing the Central Nervous System. This is a beautiful protocol that uses Vagus nerve stimulation together with essential oils, acupressure points and magnets to help balance, settle and reset the entire nervous system.
